  17. Any reasonably standard SCSI CD-ROM drive will work with any reasonably 
  18. standard SCSI controller, as long as you know and follow the rules for 
  19. termination and termpower.  How's that for a vague reply? 8-)

  21. Standard CD-ROM drives from Toshiba, Sony (also sold as Apple brand), and 
  22. NEC work; these are probably the most common brands.

  24. If you'd post specifics about your machine and controller, that would 
  25. make specific answers easier.
